As citizens of Ballymoney, we the undersigned would like to express our support for Independent Councillor Iain McAfee. We believe that the electoral law is out-dated and discriminatory and that it has deprived Ballymoney of an authentic community voice. We also believe that his employment had no bearing on the result of the election on 5th May nor is there any conflict of interest with his role as a Councillor.
