Steve Johnson has been an agent of positive change since taking the position of School Board Chairman and indeed, since being elected to the board as a member in 2002. He is a no-nonsense, fair-minded and action-oriented chairman. He has been effective in addressing the problems facing our school system and he is respected by his fellow school board members. Please don't let small minds run him out of office! Our schools, our students and the future of our city will pay the price for their prejudice.

I feel it would be a shame if Mr. Johnson resigned from his position. He has been a wonderful addition to the Richmond School Board. I feel that he has worked hard to improve the schools for all of Richmond's children.
