Support the Secret Ballot Protection Act now! H.R. 874 : S. 1173

National Alliance for Worker and Employer Rights petition supporting the Secret Ballot Protection Act in Congress.


Whereas, The Secret Ballot Protection Act (SBPA), would require government-supervised secret ballot elections to decide whether employees wish to be represented by a union but Erosion of SBPA continues with unions using their leverage, including coercion, to compel employers to recognize unions without giving the employees the benefit of choice by secret ballot ; and

Whereas, current law does not allow the employee the right to Secret Ballot if they want an election, it is entirely up to the employer to make the decision between an election by Secret ballot or open to all non-Democratic "card checks" for workers; and

Whereas, unions insist that workers sign up with card checks because more members are unionized through card check (80\%) than by Secret Ballot (50\%) causing many great problems for the employee and employer; and

Whereas, card checks are unreliable, there is a lack of information about unionization to many workers about Union downside and many Employers are threatened into signing "neutrality agreements" because they might loose their business; now, therefore be it


Resolved, that Congress should pass the Secret Ballot Protection act to uphold human dignity and freedom of choice in the American workplace; now, therefore be it

Resolved, that Congress should pass the Secret Ballot Protection Act to end the use of the undemocratic "Card Check" union election that is open to all kinds of intimidation and union abuse;

Resolved, that Congress should pass the Secret Ballot Protection Act to impress into law the unalienable right of Americans to fair and democratic election process by Secret Ballot.

Resolved, that Congress should pass the Secret Ballot Protection act to free Employees and Employers from all union coercion and give Workers maximum information about both sides of unionization before they decide to vote in a Secret Ballot Election.

Resolved, Members of Congress who have not co-sponsored H.R. 874 or S.1173 should call Rep. Norwood or Senator Demint and be added as a new co-sponsor today!

Resolved further, Leadership in Congress takes an active role in Secret Ballot passage.
