Swear-Filter in Anarchy Online

I read the many opinions about swearing in MMORPG's and i have come to a conclusion/proposition. That a swear filter would be the absolute best option for everyone in the Anarchy Online Community: Any children that may come across this game should NOT be subjected to harsh language. There should be an option allowing parents to filter out all of the bad language. Alternitively, Mature Adults should have the option to keep the swear filter off and use all the bad language they want. Of corse there would HAVE to be limits on this. Any severe degradeing of another player would result in a warning and than a temporary ban, eventually if the player continued this slander, they could be perma-banned or banned for a long period of time. As for swearing in private chat goes, I think the AO staff should let people say whatever they want in private chat (swear filter would still filter private chat) and utilize a "squelch" or "ignore" option. If someone was harassing you in private chat you could simply ingore the person and not have to put up w/ their abuse. I might have forgot something but if you are unclear about my proposition i'd be glad to enlighten you ;) Please sign this petition so everyone can choose what they want to hear/say in AO!!! -Benmargi
