Term Limits for Congress and Senate

I am petitioning the United States Congress and Senate to vote on and pass an 8 year term limits bill for themselves. The President of the United States has an 8 year term limits why shouldn't they? We need to get the people that have been in there to long and playing politics as usual out of there and get some fresh thinkers in there.
Some of these long term politicians have become so powerful that when we do get some new people in there with fresh ideas they don't stand a chance unless it is scratching some other persons back.
Let us take back the government from itself and give it back to the people. The only way we can do that is get the career politicians out of Washington. Thank you
