Thanks you Mr.Gummy Bear.

We are very sorry to say that Dr. Hans Riegel has recently passed away on the 15th of October. We, “The Bears” have been around since 1922, and thanks to him have become one of the happiest and most lovable brands in the market.

We are very much aware of our world-wide recognition, and we know who we have to thank for that. Our father, Dr. Hans Riegel was the visionary that grew us and Haribo to what we are today.

For that, we believe he deserves all the recognition he could get and we should be the ones fostering such recognition. What can we do for Dr. Riegel? A Street named after him? A park? A bridge? No, we believe that a bag of black Gummy Bears named “Remember Dr. Riegel Gummy Bears” would be the best way to recognize all he did for the brand over his 90 years of life.

We know you’ve had wonderful times tasting us in our many colours and flavours, so it’s time we ask for a little in return. Please sign our petition, to show the strength and size of the fan base that Dr. Riegel created. We know you agree with us that Dr. Riegel deserves recognition, so it’s up to you how much recognition that will be.
