Whereas the New York City Parade, well onto its fourth anniversary, has created immense positive momentum of UNITY and cultural pride among Iranians worldwide, and
Whereas this UNITY parade has now set a new milestone for all Iranians, regardless of their religions, ethnicity, political inclinations or lack thereof, to celebrate and showcase their common rich Persian cultures through this or other similar venues, and
Whereas the Parade in New York has already enhanced the favorable court of public opinion in the US and beyond in a positive fashion, and
Whereas the community at-large truly appreciates the Parade inception, and expects the continuation of this noble event for generations to follow, and
Whereas the broad community populace would very much like to place its financial, materials, and intellectual resources behind such meritorious Parade, and
Whereas such substantive support will materialize for a UNIFIED Parade soon to be announced,
Be it Henceforth resolved that the broad Iranian-American Community members and, or their respective organizations appreciate the foresights of those visionaries who instituted the Parade. In reciprocity we the signatories do hereby pledge to support the UNITY Parade within our resources possible, and encourage every Iranian community worldwide to hold similar Unity Parades. Upon a formal announcement by an integrated Parade joint communiquй, we will call in to submit our support in masses unprecedented in our contemporary history.
