The Sydney Diocese needs a truly spiritual leader

Your His Holiness Pope Shenouda III, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark

After kissing your blessed hands and prostrating to the Holy Spirit in you, we your children of the Diocese of
Sydney seek your prayers and blessings and send our heartfelt love and deep appreciation for your Holiness
continuous pastoral care for us.

We write this letter to your Holiness during the most blessed days of the year asking the Lord to return peace to our Diocese and to protect us from the devil and all his evil works. Your children faithfully believe that it was the work of the Holy Spirit through your Holiness to detain His Grace Bishop Daniel to remain in Cairo.

As per the many written and verbal complaints and requests for help sent to your Holiness asking for your prayers and guidance in this matter we ask that bishop Daniel not be allowed to return untill Your Holiness is convinced that he has the desire, will and ability to serve his diocese with the honesty, integrity and spirituality required. If Your Holiness does not feel that this is possible then we ask that he be detained indefinately and that you provide us with an alternative form of leadership as Your Holiness sees fit.
