On 2/12/02 Jeffery Leroy Hughes was sentenced to 40 years in prison for the murder of Robert Curry White, Jr. On Jan 8, 2005 he is eligible for parole. The signatures on this petition of from those who beleive that a murderer should serve his/her time in prison. Jeffery stabbed "Bobby" 17 times, left him in the woods never to be found again, and robbed him. This cold blooded man also offered to help the family search for "Bobby" after he was reported missing. We beleive that this man should serve every year given to him by the South Carolina Criminal Justice System.
