As a country of mixed cultural backgrounds and faiths it is only fitting that the diversity of opinion matches the diversity of our national make up.

So....We as u4prez candidates come to the understanding that partisanship will exist in our society, but this partisanship should not go to the point in which one side tars and feathers the other as being any less patriotic or pertinent to the process.

We understand that our disagreements in policy and points should not be brought down to the point in which we sling slanderous comments at one another that denigrate ones personal proclivities or beliefs. We believe that slanderous comments are uncalled for. And that the divide that exists between parties, religions, races, sexes and personal preferences is only widened by hateful and bigoted dialogue.

We do so declare by signing YES to this petition that the above statements are true and we promise to promote civil debate to the best of our abilities. We seek to stamp out the negative politics of bigotry and broad generalization.
