VERIZONWIRELESS and THE UNSATISFIED CUSTOMERS

We as valued customers of the Verizonwireless service write in response to the clearly defined business model of Verizonwireless. We do not wish to partake in the profiteering by way of force and compelled actions to use a falsely created market known as "Get It Now." Competing services mostly abroad do not restrict the actions of their customers to the extent of limitations to websites, downloads and the use of Java. The cellphone community that we are a part of is meant to live without restrictions on technology, but it is widely known that Verizonwireless, in their action to conform their customers to adhere and pay into services and downloading of programs that are clearly available to a broader community at no cost. Cellphone makers have been battling with service providers for to long and it is the provider that has placed the larger hindrance upon technology innovation. Cellphones from the manufacturer have been known to support features that service providers ask to be broken so they can build a false market for their own profits. We as consumers are in the right to demand more from our providers and not for our providers to guess and force, with the use of advertising propaganda that we as consumers need something that we clearly never asked for or demanded, but instead are forced to consume because of a lack of choices from the service provider.

This petition is to serve as a notice to Verizonwireless and other service providers that are trying to find another small corner or misinformed consumers to exploit a profit through the use of legalistic language in terms of agreements that are rarely read in full or appropriately required to be read prior to signing. The petition also serves as a notice to Verizonwireless to listen to their consumers and not to force their consumers to listen to them. We the undersigned beg to ask for Get it Now and Vcast to be reconsidered or in the least to allow the services that are standard on the cellphones from the manufacturer NOT to be broken for service provider profiteering. Our monthly subscription and 1-2 year agreements are enough profits to suffice the existence of a healthy company, let the freedom of the internet live.
