We, the Maldivian Students and Residents in the UK, and members and supporters of MSA-UK, sincerely request the Elections Commission of the Republic of Maldives to approve the provision of Voting Facilities in the United Kingdom.
The right to vote in any Election is granted to all Maldivian citizens of age 18 and above under Article 26(a) of the Constitution of the Maldives.
Therefore, we call upon the Elections Commission to do everything possible to provide us with the opportunity to exercise this important right in the upcoming Presidential Election.
