The institution of marriage, as defined by the citizens of Canada, is and shall remain the union of one woman and one man. Any alterations to this definition can only be made with the clear consent of the citizens of this country by means of a national referendum.
Any monies received by the Manitoban government under the proposed National Day Care Program shall not be used to discriminate against families who choose to have a parent or family member stay at home to be their childrens primary care-giver.
