White Stripes 10th Anniversary Concert Film Screening

On July 14th 2007 the White Stripes, a two piece rock band from Detroit, played their already legendary 10th Anniversary concert in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. This show was recorded for a concert film. This film will likely also feature clips from their cross-Canada tour which included memorable public appearances in Halifax.

Many White Stripes fans drove from the HRM to see the Glace Bay show. Many others couldn't get tickets, but would have loved to be in attendance. This petition has been written to show support for the idea of a screening of the 10th Anniversary White Stripes concert film in a Halifax-area cinema (such as the Oxford Theatre) at the earliest possible date. This would allow White Stripes fans to re-live this awesome event, or experience it for the first time. If released in early summer of 2008, the ideal date for screening would be exactly one year from the concert date, July 14th 2008.
