World of Warcraft - Gnomish Paladin

In other MMORPGs, there have been Gnomes, and these Gnomish societies had churches, but yet there no Gnomish paladins. The public has voiced their opinion, and in one popular MMORPG they were added, though much too late. We believe that the Gnomes deserve to play as paladins, and would hate to see the shortest people continue to pull the straw that matches their stature.
Of course, our case is not purely opinionative; there is evidence to back us up as well.
From A Balance Standpoint:
-Gnomes have the least number of classes available to any race in World of Warcraft.
-Gnomes are the only race in World of Warcraft which does not have a healing class.
-The Horde only class, the Shaman, can be played by three Horde races. The Alliance only class, the Paladin, can be played by only two Alliance races.
From A Storyline Standpoint:
"The Gnomes served the Alliance well during the Second War, but strangely, they refused to send any personnel to aid their allies during the Burning Legion's recent invasion. Though their designs helped turn the tide against the Legion, the Dwarves and Humans were shocked by the Gnomes' decision to withhold their courageous troops and pilots.
When the war ended, the Alliance discovered the reason for the Gnomes' sudden withdrawal. Apparently, an ancient, barbaric menace had risen from the bowels of the earth and invaded Gnomeregan. Knowing that their allies' priority was defeating the Burning Legion, the Gnomes decided to make their stand alone. Though they fought valiantly to save their beloved city, Gnomeregan was irrevocably lost."
-How could the Gnomes fight this ancient, barbaric menace without the help of priests or paladins to mend their wounds?
"Nearly half of the Gnomish race was wiped out during the fall of Gnomeregan. The ragged Gnomes that survived fled to the safety of the Dwarves' stronghold of Ironforge. Committed once again to the Alliance's cause, the Gnomes spend their time devising strategies and weapons that will help them retake their ravaged city and build a brighter future for their people."
-If the Gnomes did, in fact, not have paladins to aid in the battle against this evil, could the Gnomes not have since been influenced by the Dwarven church into seeing the need for these holy Gnomes?
In Conclusion:
It is unfortunate that the Gnomes were not included in other Warcraft titles such as Warcraft III, but to finally include them and then overlook the little people is unacceptable. Please grant us our wish and allow Gnomes to play as paladins!
