We petition the Government of Western Australia to reconsider the site of the proposed toxic waste facility at Boodarie, because of the vulnerability of the site to both storm surge from the sea and flooding of the Turner River, its location above a freshwater aquifer, its proximit to South Hedland, and the continuing failure of the Environment Protection Authority to effectively regulate polluters in Port Hedland.
