We have made this petition to try and give Yeovil and south Somerset skateboarders a decent Skate Park that will be put to good use. Yeovil does currently have a few skate parks however these are not used very often because they arent very good and the skateboarders dont just want to skate boring metal ramps they like a range of steps, rails, ledges ext. to skate on and improve their skills. We hope that this petition will improve the community and give local skateboarders a good skater designed skate park with a wide range of obstacles. We hope this skate park will be concrete and contain steps, ledges, handrails, banks and more!

I believe that with new skateboarding facilities, that we hope will not be vandalised like the other parks if it is built, is a great idea, as it will give new oppurtunities for youngsters in Yeovil, for now, and the future, to pursue an interest in, and
