Dear Capcom,
GameCubers around the world loved your remake of the original Resident Evil title for the next-gen console. As I'm sure sales have showed you, it was a massive hit, selling a plethora of units. I know it was the sole reason I bought a GameCube.
What we would like to see is you do the same for Resident Evil 2, and possibly down the track Resident Evil 3. Sure, with the release of RE4 people will be wound up in playing that, but if they're like me and the others I've spoken to, and I'm sure they are, they would want to backtrack down memory lane. That DVD in the Collector's Ediion of RE4 was good, it enticed me to dig out my old PlayStation copy. But that wasn't enough as it's outdated now. And the GameCube version you have released looks exactly like the PS1 version; outdated.
Yes, ther's another wave of Next-Gen consoles due for release next year, but that doesn't mean your millions of GameCube owners should be forgottern about. If the sales of REmake and RE4 are anything to go by, this game would be huge. Not only that, but the success of the RE:A movie would also help boost sales. A remake of the game would be huge.
