A5 Road Scheme from Derry ~ Londonderry to Aughnacloy
Dear Sirs,
You will be aware of the proposed A5 Road Scheme from Derry~Londonderry to Aughnacloy in the West of the Province. This has been the focus of much discussion in recent times and some local politicians have indicated that they may not be in full support of the Project.
I wish to register with you, as my local MLA, my full support of the scheme. I am a construction worker and have spent the last two years working in Scotland on similar road projects. The A5 road project offers an excellent opportunity for me and many of my fellow workmates to be able to return home to Northern Ireland. There are virtually no other opportunities that will offer me a chance to return home. To miss this opportunity would be extremely disappointing to me, my wife and my children.
This contract is to be 50\% funded by the RoI government and, as such, it offers excellent value for money to the people of Northern Ireland.
I call on you to offer your full support to this scheme and to encourage the rest of your party to do likewise.
