Add Georgia As A Fully Supported PayPal Country

PayPal is one of the most popular payment processors, and is the primary choice for most webmasters and their existing and potential clients.


However, the drawback here is that only a limited number of countries are supported by PayPal, thus limiting the number of people who can use it.





Georgia is a Eastern Europe - Eurasian country in the Caucasus located at the east coast of the Black Sea. It is bordered on the north by Russia, on the south by Turkey and Armenia, and on the east by Azerbaijan. It is a transcontinental country, located at the juncture of Eastern Europe and Western Asia.





Georgia is currently a member of such international organizations as:


- United Nations


- Council of Europe


- Commonwealth of Independent States


- World Trade Organization


- Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation


And currently seeks integration with the European Union and NATO.





And after all that Georgia is one of the countries that currently is NOT supported by PayPal in anyway. The interesting fact about Paypal is that All other countries around Georgia are supported by PayPal instead of Georgia!





We would like to request PayPal, and the authorities concerned, to add Georgia as a supported country in their system as soon as they can. PayPal will lose nothing out of supporting Georgia. In fact, both will gain. The fees charged by PayPal would mean, additional revenue for PayPal, while Georgian citizens will be able to be a part of international buyers and sellers prefer PayPal.





We would also like to stress on the fact, that PayPal should add Georgia as a fully supported country. Since most of the countries that were recently added, were granted a Send-Only support. However, in the case of Georgia, we request PayPal to add the Send, Receive, and Withdraw (in the form of check and bank, or check only).





We have high hopes that PayPal will soon be adding Georgia as a FULLY supported country, rather than a partially supported one.
