We the people of Indiana hereby petition the Indiana State Legislature to amend IC 15-5-10-1 with the following language; Whereas the state of Indiana has declared dogs to be personal property, and whereas the state of Indiana receives tax revenues from the owners of said dogs, no city, county, or state authority shall restrict, or prohibit the ownership of dogs by breed. The state of Indiana recognizes that no breed, or mixed breed of dog is inherently potentially dangerous, or dangerous.
