Amendment XXVIII to the US Constitution - Official

From the very first line, the founding fathers of our country let the citizens of this nation know why we needed a constitution. We added a Bill of Rights to preserve certain "unalienable rights" that all should have. 233 years later, here stand the citizens of the USA, still leaning on the solid rock of our founders' words. In the midst of countless debates and unceasing bickering, we all still fall on the Constitution as what shines through the fire and smoke of government conflict.
Now through the largest debate of the year, both sides of the aisle have pushed their points for whether or not our country should nationalize health care. However, one of the biggest controversies has been the fact that the bill would not apply to the Congress that is passing it as they have their own health plan. Whatever side of the issue you fall on, this is wrong.
When Congress passes rules that do not apply to its own members, it is easy to see how injustice could occur. After all, how can we the people expect true justice and equality if inequality lies in the process. Thus, we propose that the nation prevent this potential path to tyranny by passing a twenty-eighth amendment as follows:
AMENDMENT XXVIII:
Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives, and Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States.
