Dear Mr. President,

The assault on Rafah refugee camp and other areas in occupied Palestine by the Israeli government of militant Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, according to press accounts, is another act of Sharons barbaric war crimes that violate the Geneva Convention, and the U.S. Foreign Assistance and Arms Export Control Acts.
Sharon Must be Stopped.

Sharon who defied your request for him to withdraw from Jenin, who recently made a mockery of the road map, of UN Resolutions 242, 338 and 194, and managed to derail all of the US efforts for equitable solution to the conflict, Must Be Stopped.

Sharon will definitely use the presidential election year to override all what you tried to achieve in accomplishing an equitable peaceful resolution to the Palestinian-Israeli-American conflict. He is in hot pursuit of his illegal hegemonic and expansionist plans in the West Bank and Gaza of historical Palestine, especially when presidential candidates declared their unqualified support for his tactics in a bid to gain more votes and campaign finance. Sharon Must be Stopped


The United States, as financial supporter and military supplier of Israel, with our taxpayers money, holds the trump card in deciding which Israel it supports: the Israel of 1967 borders, which were recognized in UN Security Council Resolutions [242 and 338], and which the United States authored and endorsed, or the Israel of Jabotinsky-Sharon with no limits to its unruly and evil expansionist, murderous, peace-disrupting plans.

Mr. President, the silent majority of Americans, including numerous US foreign Service Diplomats and Officers, prominent US journalists, Jewish, Christian, Muslim and non-sectarian organizations, is on the rise against the disruptive actions of Sharon that are not only in arrogant defiance of the US leadership and equitable peace plans, but also in violation of International Law and United Nations Resolutions which the United States authored and endorsed to maintain world peace and order, and prevent lunatic leaders from pushing their own disruptive agendas.

Mr. President, Sharons behavior and actions call for serious concern: His actions will generate more Palestinian rйsistance and give an excuse to extremists on both sides for increasing the deplorable cycle of violence and bloodshed that serve Sharons evil plans and derail any US and World peace plans for the Middle East.

Mr. President, Sharons premeditated wanton and internationally irresponsible actions, not only endanger Israeli and Palestinian lives, but also put our deep and vital interests and national security interests at risk. Sharon Must be Stopped.

An election year should be no different than any other year; and should not be a loophole for aspiring politicians to reach their goals at the expense of our national interests and world peace. With you at the helm now, the United States is in a legitimate position to act promptly and expeditiously against all of Sharons illegal plans.
