Australian Football Home End In Trouble

We the undersigned would like to express our extreme dissapointed in the FFA and the way the have handled ticketing for the Socceroos Vs Iraq game, and there plans for future internationals.



Even though football is in fact the greatest game in the world, it would not be at the level it currently is in Australia without the support of its core fan base.



Im not talking about the multi-million dollar corporations who hire out the corporate boxes to entertain there guests or the millions of television viewers. The fans i am talking about are there week in week out, rain, hail or shine, no matter the oposition, no matter how the team is doing they are there for one reason only to SUPPORT AUSTRALIAN FOOTBALL.



A successful relationship will only stay that way if both parties contribute to the common goal. In our situation we are talking about building Australian football, we are talking about the Socceroos going to South Africa and in the future hopefully we will be talking about Australia hosting a world cup.



How many times have you heard an athlete or a team refer to "the home ground advantage" or "that little bit extra they give" when the crowd gets behind them. You might laugh this off, but i gaurentee you, if you ask any member of the Socceroos or any A-league team, they will tell you straight away that they would rather a home end jumping up and down and singing for the 90mins + stoppage time, then the odd individual doing this amongst thousands of people sitting down in silence.



I write this petition with fading hope that something can be done about this in the future.

We are asking now for your support (FFA)

We are asking for supporter groups to be able to purchase tickets in bulk to keep groups together and ultimately all supporters in the home bay TOGETHER, not scattered all over the place. This truly is the only option for a "ACTIVE AUSTRALIAN HOME END"

We are not asking you to limit tickets in the home end solely to supporter groups, but allow them to buy in groups so they can be together and lead the way for other people in the home end.
