In January of 2004, when Avril Lavigne was preparing to release her sophomore album, Under My Skin, two snippets of two different songs were released to the internet on a website streaming various music clips. One of them later became the lead single and smash hit, Dont Tell Me. The other, however, was never released on the albums final cut or even as a b-side on any of the albums promotional MAXI singles.
This song was Daydream and was warmly welcomed by a large number of fans from the Avril Lavigne fan community. Many were disappointed when a full version of the song was never released, as it almost instantly became a fan favorite.
We, The Undersigned, who are also fans of the Canadian pop rock singer, Avril Lavigne, correspondingly ask both Avril Lavigne, as well as her current and past labels (including Arista Records and RCA Records) to take the needed procedures in digitally releasing this song to the public, whether it is on a future MAXI single or an online release (ie. I-tunes).
This will not only benefit the fans, but also the artist and her representatives being as many fans would love to purchase a full, CD quality version of this classic Avril Lavigne song.
