Bring back Ben Reilly into Marvel Comics
We here are the friends and fans of Ben Reilly, also known as The Scarlet Spider and SpiderBen. As the clone of Peter Parker the amazing Spiderman, Ben Reilly was first featured 1975 for a short appearance as an unnamed clone, and was presumed dead. He later resurfaced in 1994 as Ben Reilly and became well known by fans. At one point it was even intended to have Ben Reilly replace Peter Parker permanently as Spiderman. However, due to many unavoidable circumstances, this did not come to fruition. And even worse yet, this character that many fans had come to bond and identify with was killed off as an easy way out to end the mess of what the Clone Saga had become.
By signing this petition you are stating that you would like to see Ben Reilly back in commission in comics today. Anyone can admit that the Clone Saga had become a mess, but now Marvel chooses to completely ignore the events that happened in the Spiderman continuity. So we here ask that Ben Reilly no longer be ignored in the Spiderman continuity and be acknowledged for what he was; a hero and wonderful character and to hopefully have him brought back (through the magic of comic book ingenuity) so that his character may be enjoyed for years to come.

The Scarlet Spider was the character that got me reading Spiderman comics. If it wasn't for this character, I would never have bought the hundreds of Spiderman comics I currently own. This character needs bringing back, no questions.
