At the very least, include a third set for the 4.5 levels and above. It seems players at these levels are more interested in tennis than time schedules. Oh, and next time try to give us some real reasons and not those bogus patronizing ones. Thanks

The reason I play USTA is so I can get as close to a professional-like experience at my level. By removing natural parts of the game (like a real third set)it becomes hard to equate the "matches" that I play with the matches they play on the circuit. Why

There is no reason to eliminate the third set in a league match or even in in a playoff match. There is no time pressure, scheduling pressure and it eliminates important deciding factors that can occur in a full third set--conditioning, give and take in
