We, the 30-60 age group are outraged at the change of format from Oldies to Hip Hop on Power 105.1 formally known as Jammin' 105. We, in this age group are the listeners who boost the ratings on this station. We have the radios at our desks, in our cars, in our homes while doing housework, in our ears at the gym or just winding down from a hard days work, etc. We are the hard working adults who need something to hear when we need to relax or chill. The old format was the best to ever come around for us who love the Oldies. The songs brought back memories that made us feel good inside and put smiles on our faces. We are not pleased with this new change and the station needs to go back to the old format. Just wait and watch your ratings slip away.
