Brock University Strike

As I am sure all Brock University students are aware, there is a possibility of a strike if a negotiation settlement is not made on December 3 / 2006 [which we also know is only ONE DAY before the set exam schedule].



BUFA (Brock University Faculty Association) as handing out flyers in last week regarding the strike and what we, as STUDENTS can do. After reading the flyer, I decided to create a petition for students to vote AGAINST a strike on December 3rd. Closer to this date, I will send this petition to everyone involved, including President Jack Lightstone and Terry Boak, Provost and Vice-President.



Please sign this petition if you are AGAINST a strike at Brock University and would like to continue with exams this fall term... and keep in mind, this strike could potentially push our second semseter back, therefore, going into our regular summer months. This could result in less oppotunity to earn money in the summer months because we will still be in school and for those that live away from home, more money for groceries and rent, and, less chances to sublet.
