To the Entire Dystonia Community :
Did you know that the resources provided by the Department of Health and Human Services looks as if their list of National Health Observances for June (http://www.healthfinder.gov/nho/nho.asp#m6) does not include Dystonia Awareness Month. Do we really think that ONE week will bring about immense change in awareness. Think about it - 7 days versus 30 days.
WHY NOT ?? Call for Action...Set aside your group allegiances and let's ACT.
We are undermanned, underfunded, misunderstood, not united, full of personal agendas, and apparently our priorities need a bit of change. Sign the petition so that June can become DYSTONIA AWARENESS MONTH now.
