City of Cape Girardeau Striped bicycle lanes

The city of Cape Girardeau wants to stripe bicycle lanes on our city streets in our neighborhoods.
In striping our neighborhood streets the plan states that we will no longer be able to park on these striped lanes. In city neighborhoods this will mean that you cannot park in front of your home any longer. If you have anyone coming to visit your home where will they park their cars?
Think about holidays when frinds and family visit, friends coming for dinner, home partys, garage sales, elderly folks who are sick and have loved ones visiting, and any celebrations you will have.
Please sign this petition if you disagree with having these bicycle stripes that will not allow us to park in the street in front of my home and yours.
