conceal carry of restricted firearms for personal protection

this petition is to get the canadian government to allow anyone with a restricted firearms licence to conceal carry a restricted firearm, ie: handgun, for personal protection of self and family and innocents, the reason being is the continuous added threat of terrorism, the rise in crime, and gang activity, we have a diminishing police force, we have crime almost everywhere, the police cannot be everywhere at once unless the canadian government is going to put police officers on every corner of every street in the nation, not to mention the very rural areas, the police cant be everywhere at once thats all there is too it, and we have the god given right to self preservation, and to defend those weaker than ourselves, too many times has the police been too late at a scene where somone if they were armed could have stoped the perpetrator, take the ottawa shooting of he young soldier, that could have been prevented if the young man was armed with a loaded weapon, like a soldier should be!!!!! but he wasnt, now if you ask me, thats the stupidest thing ive ever seen an unarmed soldier, the point is we have to rely on ourselves for ours and our families protection, first and formost, and then the police, and just like anything, its only a weapon when used as such, and for anyones information, you can kill somone jsut as easily with a pencil, as a gun, stopping people from carrying is going to do nothing to stop violence, as weve seen recently, people will use anything to kill, if they want to bad enough, from a truck, to a car, to a axe, or a gun,so i petition the government of canada to allow us to protect ourselves. it seems to me no one cares until they themsleves are affected, well now is the time to stop protecting our criminals and put them where they belong, subdue them for the police,or in the ground if nessesary.
