Contain H1N1 (Swine Flu) infection

Other Countries around the world are taking a strong stance against Influenza A virus subtype H1N1 also known as the Swine Flu. It angers me and the rest of Americans that public events are still taking place while only some schools close and others remain open. Containing infectious disease isn't easy and you are making the WHO(world health organizations) work against impossible odds. Airbourne disease and public crowds is the ideal scenario to make this virus pandemic. Deaths in the United States are expected as well as globally. Ground flights especially to mexico to prevent infection and slow infection rate. America cares more about making money than saving lives. Other countries are slaying pigs, banning imported meat despite FAO reassurances, banning flights to and from Mexico and the US. We need to take this kind of strong approach! Better safe than sorry. Imagine the government grounding flights except for doctors, media, and research workers. Declare a national safety holiday and let people stay home for a few days and the sick can call in and have a doctor visit them or go to a local office or hospital. If the sick stay home they wont infect others, if the non infected stay home they cannont get infected. Then once you decide what regions are safe then can go about thier daily activities while hot spots continue to wait it out. The answer is so simple its baffeling how any of these diseases can go pandemic with organizations able to identify new strains so quickly. God save us all because the American government will not.
