DAoC Classic Server

I feel DAoC needs a Classic Server, before all the bullshit this game is infested with now.

Here's what I sent Mythic:

"Alrighty kids, I've been around for a long time, and I have quite a bit of support on this one.

If I started a petition for a Classic server with the setup I'll have listed at the bottom, and I got a significant amount of signatures, would you do it? The game was much better back then, and you could get a fresh start. if the server maintains a good population, consider releasing expansions specifically for that server. Also, I know you like the money, possibly have all expansions up to cats a requirement.

----The Classic Server----

-Complete class revamp, re-evaluate every class for this change(except classes removed)

-Expansion graphics stay in game

-All expansion zones removed

-ID's/Task dungeons removed

-Artifacts/ML's Removed

-NF(New frontiers) zones removed, revert to OF zones

-Keep NF RA's

-NO porting in Frontiers

-No dual logging, remove it, and set people up to monitor for buffbots. They are nice income for you, I know, but they are bad. Maybe if you send some e-mails, old customers may even re-join!

-SI, TOA, and CATACOMBS races/classes removed

-Spellcrafters/alchemists removed

-Keep Housing

-/level removed

-If/when you release new expansions, add content and quests, and even new gear, but keep the old gear on par with the new stuff. We're all very aware of the "release an expansion with rediculously overpowered items/classes so people will buy it, and when sales drop, nerf it down to size" scheme. In fact, it's not even a scheme, it just makes your players hate you. Not trying to be mean, but we can't trust you anymore

-If/when expansions are released, follow the little things that each realm has:

Albion is all human.

Midgard races can be a healer OR a shaman, must be
one, but not both.(Valkyn and Frostalf where both
a kick in the nuts here)

Hibernia needs a hug, you never gave them a cool
thing like this in the first place.

-Also, use your common sense on the rest of it, you probably have a good idea of what we're talking about at this point.

Honestly, I'd like to see "computer scanned for illegal 3rd party programs" in the TOS for this server.

Anyway, This petition is to encourage Mythic to use some of the hardware they're gaining by clustering to make this server, it would bring the fun back to the game.

It's been far too long now...
