America is in great need of a candidate for president that is capable of forming the broadest bipartisan coalitions possible to solve our countrys urgent problems.
Increasingly, left-leaning voices within the party have become more vocal, often drowning out the voices of moderation. The American people have spoken repeatedly about the need for centrist-minded candidates that place the good of the nation above party politics or personal interests.
Through your skillful and successful bipartisan method of governing, you have demonstrated there are voices of moderation that understand the need to reach out to all people, whether Democrat or Republican.
Our country needs your leadership. You speak the language Americans are anxious to hear.
Governor Warner, the undersigned believes that you are an effective leader, capable of renewing the strength of the Democratic Party and bringing it back to the core democratic values that has been the foundation of our great traditions.
By signing this petition, I join others in imploring you to answer the call to run for President of the United States in 2008. Should you answer the call, I will do everything I can to help you make it to the White House.
