Equality for all at Burj Khalifa

Jalal Jamal Majid BinThaneya, Emirati, Campaigner for special needs has requested to conduct a joint project in aid of the special needs community. Jalal has requested since 2008 with assistance and support in ascending the steps of the Burj Khalifa Tower(160 Floors) situated in Dubai city,United Arab Emirates.

Jalal BinThaneya has walked the United Arab Emirates(500km) in 2007 in support of the Autism Center,Climbed 100(12 days) towers in Dubai City in aid for the Rashid Center,crossed the empty quarter on foot from Dubai city(2 weeks) all for aid of special needs and in raising awareness for their support from the community in Dubai. see www.binthaneya.com

The tower has received many international figures and representations to hold events at the tower till present. Jalals request to enter the tower legally has been delayed with poor excuses that have no real significance to the actual facts that surround the tower and its management. At the time of publishing this petition many external parties have been allowed free access into the tower with full support however Jalal has been delayed more then thrice from the objective at hand.

The time requested to be allocated to Jalal BinThaneya is two hours maximum in support of the Al Noor Special needs Center http://www.alnoorspneeds.ae

In this petition we request you the management at Burj Khalifa to support Jalal BinThaneya in his challenge without further delays and to stop the discrimination against Emirati objectives immediately. Excuses will not replace lack of support and lack of interest towards causes which stem from the nation itself.

إن الشاب جلال جمال ماجد بن ثنية الإماراتي والناشط في مجال حقوق ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة قد طلب الموافقة على تنفيذ نشاط مشترك بدعم من أوساط الدفاع عن حقوق ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة. لقد كان أول طلب من قبل جلال إليكم عام ٢٠٠٨ للحصول على المساعدة والدعم في صعود سلالم برج خليفة كاملة (١٦٠ طابقاً) والواقع في مدينة دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة.

لقد قام جلال بالمسير عبر أراضي دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة لمسافة ٥٠٠ كلم دعماً لمركز دبي للتوحد، وقد صعد ١٠٠ برجاً في مدينة دبي على مدار ١٢ يوماً دعماً لمركز راشد، وعبر أيضاً الربع الخالي سيراً على الأقدام انطلاقاً من دبي ولمدة أسبوعين وذلك دعماً لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة والتوعية حول حقوقهم في أوساط المجمتمع في دبي. زوروا الموقع www.binthaneya.com.

لقد تلقى البرج إلى تاريخه الكثير من الطلبات من قبل أطراف وشخصيات دولية لإقامة فعاليات في البرج. والجدير بالذكر أن طلب جلال المقدم بشكل قانوني قد تأجلت الموافقة عليه لأسباب واهية وبدون حقائق موجبة للتأجيل في ظل توفر جميع الظروف الإيجابية لدى الإدارة لإعطاء الموافقة المطلوبة. وحتى تاريخ نشر هذه العريضة، حصلت أطراف خارجية كثيرة على الإذن بالدخول بحرية ودعم كاملين إلى البرج، ورغم ذلك تم تأجيل طلب جلال أكثر من ثلاثة مرات.
