Extension of Library Hours at Brooklyn College

WHEREAS, the Brooklyn College Library, a valuable resource for students, is open for a mere 71 hours per week, tied for the lowest weekly hours in all of CUNY, and
WHEREAS, Baruch College on the other hand, sports 119 weekly hours for its main library and Brooklyn College students deserve similar, if not the same hours,
PURSUANT to the resolution introduced by the CLAS Student President and passed by the CLAS Student Assembly on Tuesday November 1st, 2005,
WE, THE STUDENT BODY, urge the College to keep the Library open until at least 10 p.m. during regular weekdays and until midnight during finals, when students will need it the most.
