To Nickelodeon movies, Viacom, Centre Street Productions, Constant Communications and all parties involved, we present to you the following request.
On October 28th, 2000 a film produced by your collective companies was released as a TV movie on the Viacom owned channel Nickelodeon. The film I am referencing was named "Cry Baby Lane". The contents of this film, while having been claimed by some as truly terrifying, remain unknown to the majority of the public. It seems that no record, film, VHS, nor digital video, can be found by the public anywhere. The only videos of its existence seem to have been removed for reasons unknown.
Thus we offer up the following considerations
The first mission of this document is to provide proof that said film does exist and was in fact released and shown on the date of october 28, 2000
Secondly, while understanding you are a rather large company, we trust that perhaps you would be willing to release said movie in some solid form that could be obtained by the public, OR be willing to air the film on October 28th of the year or the subsequent year depending on the date of the adoption of this petition.
We ask that you truly take this request to heart. The need for this change is simple, that we wish to understand a part of our history, and to know, what are the contents? What could be so terrifying that it has been unobtainable for more then ten years? Public demand drives this, our motives are not hidden in some secret agenda, we simply wish to watch a video that has long eluded us, and end our hunt for "Cry Baby Lane". Thank you for your time.
