Frankfort Parks & Rec. Girls Fall Softball League

We, the undersigned fans of Frankfort Park and Rec Girls Softball, would like to petition the Frankfort Park and Rec, to offer a girls 9-11 year old Girls FALL Softball league, starting this fall, 2009.
It is well known that the Frankfort Parks and Rec. is about to hold sign ups for the BOYS Fall Baseball for 2009, for boys ages 9-11. In order to offer fair competition to the girls of this community, and to be on par with the boys, we are asking that the Frankfort Parks and Rec. offer Girls FALL Softball, for ages 9-11, at the same rate as the boys, of $55.00 per player. We are also asking that the duration of the league follow the same format, number of games, and tournament, as the boys league will offer.
It is well known that equality between girls and boys sports is gaining attention nationwide, and we are asking the same for Frankfort. Surrounding areas, such as Lawrenceburg offer Girls and Boys Fall Baseball/Softball, but not Frankfort. Not offering fall girls softball is definitely hurting and disappoint kids and parents in Frankfort.
Please, Frankfort Parks and Rec. reconsider and let these incredibly talented girls have the same opportunity as the boys, by playing this fall.

I think a fall league would be great for the girls. My daughter has played summer ball for two years now and really has likes to play, and the summer league goes by so fast. They the need the FALL league to be able to play more games and get better and be

I think this would be the best thing that happened for the girls of Frankfort - There is nothing for this age group here - My daughter played last year in L'burg because of this - I am 100\% behind this
