Each year, millions of kangaroos are killed to be skined and are turned into football boots. Adidas, is one of the industrys biggest consumers of this kangroo skin, it's a major driving force behind the industry. Adidas is using the skin and making a football boot, ironically, called the predator.

Adidas are aware of the slaughtering of the kangroos. the site, Viva! has written to them on countless occasions, and has also taken law action to stop Adidas America Inc and three sports shops for illegally selling kangaroo skin Predator boots in California.

The kangaroo is second only to the Statue of Liberty as the most recognised tourist icon in the world. Thus Making the Kangaroo a vital tourist attraction to Australia. If the kangaroos are wiped out, this would be a major blow to the Australian toursim campaing.
