Something very disturbing was just disclosed to me yesterday. I found out that, Ferrets, those loveable creatures, have been used for testing a vaccine for the SARS virus. This means that they are being intentionally infected with the virus only to test a vaccine that has yet to work. These poor defenceless creatures do not deserve this! In one recent story covered by the media in Toronto, ferrets that have been exposed to this new "vaccine had such a bad reaction to the test that their livers ballooned up! This is the most in-humane way to treat these adorable little fuzzies. Please sign this petition to show your support to ban testing on all ferrets. This MUST stop!
