We, the Undersigned, feel that this is a civil rights issue and passing an amendment such as the above stated would encourage discrimination. We feel such an amendment is prejudicial in nature.
We feel that under no circumstances should a single group of Americans should be singled out to be discriminated against as this proposed amendment does.
We understand that same-sex couples come across legal boundaries that married couples do not, such as health coverage, emergency health decisions and visitations in hospitals, and inheritance rights. We feel this is immoral in nature and should not be allowed.
