Dear Steve Jobs,
Apple iPod users have consistently experienced problems with firmware updates since the first generation of devices were rolled out.
We are making a joint plea to Apple to launch an international iPod warranty extention program to rectify the problem.
The consumers who in good faith purchased this device and who are unable to mount their iPod after a firmware update, who have tried to remedy the problem with detailed assistance of Apple customer care associates, and who fall outside the one year warranty protection appeal to you to do the right thing and restore their faith in the Apple brand.

1) my iPod charges properly from both a wall outlet and the Firewire port on my eMac.
2) iPod does not mount on desktop
3) iPod is not recognized in iTunes
