To whom it may concern,
Many students of McLean 6th grade center and Mclean Middle School found that the dress code violates their right to the pursuit of happiness as stated in the declaration of independence. Therefore, this petition is an appeal to repeal the uniforms at the aforementioned schools.
If approved, this will become active at the beginning of the 2006-2007 school year. This must reach the office of Superintendent Melody Johnson by August 1st, 2006 or it shall be considered null and void. However if FWISD purposefully delays reading this letter/email and enough cause can be brought to prove the delay, the above clause shall be negated.
