"Military Spouse Appreciation Day" in Canada

Though Military Spouse Day or Military Spouse Appreciation Day is celebrated on the Friday before Mother’s Day in the US, there is currently no official day in Canada that acknowledges spouses of Canadian Forces Members. We have Red Fridays to support the troops, Canadian Forces Appreciation Day the first Sunday in June, and Remembrance day, but nothing that specifically recognizes the profound influence of Canadian military spouses.
Don't you think it's about time to change that?
We, the undersigned, support an official "Military Spouse Appreciation Day" to be designated in Canada with respect for the extraordinary sacrifices and dedication of Canadian Military Spouses, and observed on the Friday before Mother’s Day.
