More alternative programs in schools

I am a high school student, and recently I switched to an Alternative school for kids with a more focused goal. And I must say, Carle' is one of the best schools I've seen because they are not trying to force information down my throat that I won't need. I personally think that we should create more alternative programs for kids not interested in college or are interested in more of a focused goal, such as myself. I wish to become a musician, and at Carle', all of these options are open. I would also like the government to put more funding into music programs, and put in more classes besides concert band and jazz band. What about Rock band? Metal band? Hardcore band? With these classes we can focus more on the children and help push them to what they want to do, and, it'll give them something fun to do, then at the end of school, hold a concert for $10 a person, sell food and drink, and have all of these bands perform a live show. If they are truly interested in becomming a proffesional, teach them recording, teach them things about the road. Let us bring back the arts into the schools and allow the kids who wish to go into a different proffesion other than college, such as welding or construction work, get the classes they need to succeed in California!!!
