His final farewell race, the Brazilian Grand Prix of Sao Paulo takes place on Sunday 22 October 2006.
We, the following, wish for ex-commentator and current Honda F1 Ambassador Murray Walker to make a one-off special return to ITV Sport to commentate for Michael Schumacher's final grand prix race.
It would be a delightful and highly satisfying end to an amazing career for fans to see Michael out from under the voice of Murray. It certainly would be something extremely special hearing the very same voice who introduced Michael Schumacher to us all to finally share his emotional departing of the sport.
Murray commentated for the 2006 Australian Grand Prix for Australia's Formula One broadcaster Network Ten, and is also Sky Sports' commentator on their coverage of Grand Prix Masters. There is no reason he could not do it, other than personal choice!
So once again, we, the following, would LOVE the chance for Murray Walker to return... just this once!
Just imagine the quoted gems that will pop up...
"There are actually seven previous winners of the Monaco Grand Prix, starting in tomorrow's race, and four of them are Michael Schumacher... there he is now!"
"'Will it rain?', said Jim Rosenthal. Well Murray Walker says 'Yes it will'... but then maybe it won't!"
Come on Murray! :)
