No 2 Hate The Savage Nation

National Radio Stations & Advertisers of "The Savage Nation"

We, the undersigned, hereby affirm our distain, outrage and opposition with the national "Radio Broadcasting Stations" and "Corporations" who choose to support Michael Savage's radio talk show. Radio stations airing and corporations advertisements which appear on "The Savage Nation", are in fact, enabling Michael Savage to spew his relentless messages of hate directed against Gays, Lesbians, Liberals, People of Color, Middle Eastern Heritage, Muslim Faith and Woman. And by doing so, these radio stations and corporations, are in essence, exhibiting that they are in complete agreement and support the despicable, reprehensible and hateful views of Michael Savage.

We understand, that Michael Savage, as do all Americans, have the right to free speech. And this right to free speech, allows Michael Savage to voice his personal beliefs, opinions and views on his radio talk show, no matter how insulting, hateful, offensive and denigrating they are to others.
And radio stations have the right to choose which programs to air. Just as corporations have the right to choose which programs they wish sponsor with their advertising dollars. However, when a radio station and corporation choose to associate themselves with a program and they completely ignore the insulting, hateful, offensive and denigrating effects the program will have on the lives of others. It's blatantly apparent, their motivating factor for this decision is solely based on ratings and old mighty dollar. This only serves to perpetuate the dominance of "hate radio" over the airwaves. For this, the radio broadcasting stations and corporate commercial sponsors of such programs, as "The Savage Nation", should be ashamed of themselves and held accountable for their actions.

Those who have signed this petition, intend to do just that. We will hold each and every radio station and corporate sponsor of Michael Savage's "The Savage Nation", accountable for their promoting and perpetuating the dominance of "hate radio" on the airwaves.

We call upon all radio broadcasting stations to implement a "Fairness Doctrine" to ensure that all coverage of controversial issues by a broadcast station be balanced and fair. This could ensure that not only the views of Michael Savage, will be heard. But, those with opposing view points will
have the opportunity to be heard, without being cut off. Without implementing a policy that would offer listeners balanced and fair coverage of views on controversial issues. We will be left with no other options, than, to avail ourselves of our right to free speech and speak out against the radio broadcasting stations and commercial corporations that sponsor and support "hate radio".

We refuse to contribute one penny of our hard earned dollars to support or promote "hate radio"
We will boycott all radio broadcasting stations which choose to air, "The Savage Nation".
We will boycott all corporations which choose to support these radio broadcasting stations.
We will Boycott all corporations whose advertisements directly sponsor, "The Savage Nation".
