Opera support for Gmail

This is to petition Google to support Opera in Gmail. Many people have Gmail accounts and using the Opera browser.
At the present time they have to use Gmail in a "standard HTML" mode, which disable the chat or the settings in Gmail. The Opera browser is a leading product in the market, althought it is free of charge for the desktops. It has outstanding user friendly functions and very nice technical capabilities wich are close to the internet drafts.
I believe that Google has the ability to make this technical improvement.
