Whereas the many deep potholes on Old Roaring Brook Road (Town of New Castle, New York) presents significant hazards to anyone walking or traveling by vehicle on the road;
Whereas the constant regrading of Old Roaring Brook Road produces delays and dangerous conditions;
Whereas the regrading has been progressively less effective, with deep potholes reappearing within one to two days of regrading;
Whereas the town is incurring unnecessary expenses due to constant regrading, and is exposed to liability after receiving proper prior notice;
We, the undersigned, respectfully request that the unpaved portion of Old Roaring Brook Road immediately be properly prepared for paving, and then paved as soon as possible.
